Overview
Established in 2023 by the Alabama Alliance for Recovery Residents (AARR) in partnership with the Alabama Bureau of Pardons and Paroles (ABPP), the Alabama Recovery Advocacy Day facilitates engagement between leaders of the recovery community and state officials that implement addiction-related policies. The event was initially hosted on the Alabama State House steps as a kind of rally, but the success and growth quickly led to using major venues like the Multiplex at Cramton Bowl to host larger exhibitions and audience capacity.
