Overview
The nonprofit Cure Addiction Now (CAN) was founded in 2018 by Nancy Davis and her late son Jason Davis, who passed away from an overdose in 2020 after struggling with opioid use disorder for 12 years. The first fundraising benefit was held in 2025, with $800,000 raised for 19 scientific research initiatives related to dual-diagnosis mental health frameworks.
