Overview
An armchair expert is someone who has no training or experience in a particular subject but provides commentary or critique as if one does. It’s why I try to emphasize that I have no inherent qualification that makes me better than anyone else at interpreting the evidence I look like, and I characterize my work as a series of amateur and opinionated literature surveys.
